While our team fluctuates in size, depending on the nature and the size of contracts we conduct for our clients, our core team of experienced and knowledgeable professionals is always there to assist you.

Ocean’s philosophy is to give our people a great deal of autonomy on their job sites so they can work effectively and efficiently without burdensome corporate processes to slow them down. We hire mature, experienced, responsible self-starters who take great pride in their work. Our management structure is very flat and accessible, so support and oversight can be provided as needed.

Juliana Correa

PRESIDENT / CEO

Juliana Correa is the CEO and President of Ocean Consulting and Contracting. In this role, she manages her staff with a laser-sharp focus on ensuring client satisfaction and creating a productive team environment. She is known for her broad-based management skills with strong planning, communication, and organizational decision-making skills to successfully direct concurrent projects. Her background includes successful stints in positions of increasing responsibility as a project manager, real estate property manager, facility renovations manager, and construction project manager. She is adept at leading projects from start to finish, estimating project costs, managing budgets, addressing regulatory issues, and maintaining positive public relations.

Roger A. House

VP BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Roger House is President, CEO, and 100% owner of Axiom Corporation. A retired U.S. Navy officer, Mr. House’s 20 years of service included duty on three different ships, numerous shore commands and overseas assignments. He held many leadership, management and administrative positions, and is a veteran of the 1st Gulf War. During his time in the Navy, Mr. House was part of the surface Navy and the medical department. He spent five years at the Navy recruiting command headquarters, where he was responsible for recruiting officers into the Medical Department of the Navy.

After retiring from the Navy, Mr. House transitioned to a government job, as the Deputy Director of the Vital Records Branch, Division of Public Health, Department of Human Resources for the State of Georgia. From there, he went to work for Axiom Corporation where he held several positions in business development and management before purchasing the company from the previous owners.

Mr. House holds a bachelor degree in Healthcare Management, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Public Administration (MPA). He is a Credentialed Fellow (CFAAMA) in the American Academy of Medical Administrators (AAMA). Originally from Montgomery, AL, Mr. House now splits his time between Atlanta, GA and Washington, DC. In addition to high-level oversight of all aspects of the company.

Mateo Correa

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Mateo Correa is the Chief Operating Officer of Ocean Consulting and Contracting. Prior to joining Ocean, Mateo worked for Google, Northrop Grumman, and BMW Manufacturing on a variety of different projects, ranging from machine learning clustering algorithms to 3D-printing space satellites with robotic arms. He also worked as a Project Manager specializing in Data Analytics at the McMaster-Carr Supply Company.
He holds a BA in Mechanical Engineering from the highly prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). At MIT, Mateo worked at the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory developing 3D M-Blocks; self-reconfiguring cube-shaped robots capable of locomotion via pivoting. He also conducted research on autonomous marine vehicles, and, as a senior, collaborated with a team of students to design Areta, an automatic belaying device for lead-rock-climbing.

Chris Stroumpis

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Mr. Stroumpis has over 14 years of professional experience in the accounting and finance arenas and is highly experienced in government contracting. His skills include financial analysis, improving financial efficiency and operations, forecasting and reporting. His specialties include government contract compliance, FAR Part 31, DCAA compliance, cost and pricing development and contract close out activities, among others.

Mr. Stroumpis is a Certified Public Accountant in the states of Georgia and Maryland. He holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, both from Berry College. Mr. Stroumpis is also affiliated with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
